Allern & York are excited to be working with an exciting and innovative scale-up business operating in the solar technology sector who are seeking a strong and experienced Marketing Lead to join them on their journey as they take the technology to market.

Your main role will be to formulate a marketing strategy to scope out the competition, identify market trends and listen to clients, all of which will help to determine the strategy moving forward, so previous experience of having done this is required. You'll then be responsible for website development, social media content, digital marketing, the design and production of promotional materials such as leaflets and brochures, content development, video content and managing marketing campaigns. It's expected that you will have had experience of most of these at some point but if not, a definite willingness to learn is expected. In addition, you'll have exceptional project and time management skills, the ability to liaise with people of different levels and understandings of marketing activities and to delegate tasks, people management skills and sound communication skills, both written and verbal.

To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience of putting together a marketing strategy and if you've worked for a start up previously and indeed in the energy/sustainability sector, that would be a bonus but is not essential. You will hold a professional marketing qualification/degree and be able to demonstrate your commitment to continued professional development.
